What will the crew haul off?
“If it’s taking up space… we’re taking it OUT,” is how one of our posts put it, and the list backs that up:
- Refrigerators, washers, dryers and other appliances
- Old carpet and general household debris
- Brush, yard waste, and the vapor barrier torn out of a crawl space
- Hot tubs, pool tables and pianos
- Construction debris, and the trash spilling over a full dumpster
- Commercial junk from offices, stores and warehouses
Couches, dressers and mattresses have a page of their own under furniture removal. When a whole room or house has to be emptied, it’s a cleanout, and a hot tub that should go to somebody else’s patio is hauling.
Before
AfterWhat have we hauled this year?
June 2 was a straight trash removal and cleanup, the kind that fills a trailer and gives somebody their driveway back. Another day it was a dumpster that had overflowed onto the ground around it; we cleared the spill and the trash inside.
Businesses call too. We did a general trash haul for a Pizza Hut and took a commercial printer out of Southern Charm Printing. The September 15 reel has two jobs in one: dumping a load, then moving a heavy safe. And one run behind the orange pickup was a trailer stacked high with old mattresses.
Why not haul it to the county center yourself?
For a few bags, go ahead. Marshall County runs four convenience centers (Hwy 99, Old Columbia Road, Fayetteville Highway and Ostella Road) that take furniture, mattresses, scrap metal, refrigerators and washers from residents. They refuse tires, hazardous waste and commercial waste, and tires go to 611 Hawkins Drive at $2.50 each. That’s from the county’s solid waste page as we read it in October 2026, so check it before you load the truck.
A business clearing out its back room can’t use those centers at all. Neither can anyone whose load won’t fit in a car, or who can’t get a dryer up into a pickup bed. The Lewisburg page covers what the city itself will and won’t pick up.
Under the house, and behind the build
Two things on our list catch people off guard. One is crawl-space vapor barrier, the old plastic sheeting under a house that somebody has to crawl in and drag out by hand. The other is construction debris: offcuts, packaging, and whatever has piled up around a job-site dumpster. Builders who need the rooms cleaned once the scrap is gone can book our post-construction cleaning on the same call.
How does the quote work?
Call or text (931) 675-2475, message our Facebook page, or fill in the form here. It’s free. Say what’s going, about how much, and where it is, because a pile at the curb and a basement full of debris are different afternoons. Our pricing is upfront: you get the number before anything goes on the trailer.
Same-day and next-day pickups happen when the schedule has room, and weather doesn’t call one off; our May 24 post was a trailer loaded and a property cleared, rain or shine. One yard job this year was the second of the day, and we were still answering the phone after it.
Where does it go?
Off your property with us, then wherever that kind of load belongs. Our old site described it as disposing of everything responsibly and recycling whenever possible. If you care where a particular load ends up, ask, and we’ll tell you.

Junk removal: what people ask
How much does junk removal cost?
It depends on the load, and the quote is free. Call or text (931) 675-2475 with what’s going, roughly how much there is, and whether it sits at the curb or up a flight of stairs. We don’t publish a price list, but our pricing is upfront, so you hear the number before we start loading.
How long does a junk removal pickup take?
Most of the time is loading, so one appliance at the curb goes quickly and a basement full of debris takes a good while longer. Ask for a time estimate when you get your quote. Our May 24 post listed same-day and next-day pickups, when the schedule allows.
Will you take an old refrigerator, washer or dryer?
Yes. Refrigerators, washers and dryers are on our junk removal list, and we carry them out ourselves, so nobody in the house has to walk a fridge down the steps. Unplug and empty it beforehand, and if a water line runs to the ice maker, shut it off at the valve.
Do I have to drag the junk out to the curb?
No. We do the loading, the hauling and the cleanup, so there’s no heavy lifting on your end. Leave it in the garage, the basement, the back of the yard or the crawl space and point us to it. Clearing a path through the house to the door speeds up the job.
Can you haul away junk from a business?
Yes. Offices, stores and warehouses are on our list. This year we did a general trash haul for a Pizza Hut and removed a commercial printer for Southern Charm Printing. Tell us the address, what’s going and when the building is open, and we’ll work the pickup around your business hours.
Do you pick up brush and yard waste?
Yes. Brush and yard waste are part of our junk removal, along with the old vapor barrier pulled from a crawl space. One job this year was a whole yard cleared, the junk removed and every bit of it hauled off. Piles of limbs and bagged leaves both go on the trailer.
